BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1649) O, with crowned-L and crowned-arms countermarks on cross (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Hudson, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1487. 25.60 grams. Solid and uncorroded Fine+ with flat peripheries, good full shield with clear P-O to left and 8 to right, full but doubled cross with bold and nearly full countermark in lower-right quadrant inside a deep partial countermark on edge, 16 of date visible at opposite end, toned in crevices.
