BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1649) O, with crowned-•F• (two dots) and crowned-T countermarks on shield (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1487. 25.95 grams. Solid and fairly corrosion-free but with large, pre-conservation dent (and associated bend) on otherwise decent full shield that exhibits one bold countermark to left of center and a more obscure countermark (recognizable crown) to right, clear P•O and 8•, full but off-center cross, overall Fine with toning in crevices.
