BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1649 O/sR, rare, with crowned-•F• countermark on shield, ex-Capitana (1654), ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-unl (Type 327). 27.57 grams. Broad flan, 100% corrosion-free but with much flatness (net Fine), bold full date outside of full cross, the shield also full with bold top half (crown) of countermark just below center, full P-O/sR to left, minor cracks on edge, toned in crevices.
