BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1649) O/Z, rare, with crowned-•F• (two dots) countermark on shield and crowned-arms countermark on cross (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana (1654), ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1486. 22.02 grams. Broad-flan VF+ with light corrosion (also small edge-crack) but nice toning, very full and clear P-O/Z (doubled) to left of full shield, bold 8 to right, nearly full countermark close to center, partially bold cross with deeply impressed partial countermark at top edge.
