BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1647 (small digits), assayer not visible, with crowned-L countermark on cross, rare, NGC Genuine / La Capitana Shipwreck. KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. Broad flan with bold full shield and cross, clear 47 of date (not mentioned on label) with oddly rotated 4, most of countermark visible, also clear •8• denomination to right of shield, minimal corrosion, two edge splits, nicely toned. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
