BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 164(9?) Z, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P34; KM-17a; Cal-1104. 20.11 grams. Broad flan with well-centered full shield below bottom half of crown, full assayer Z to left and denomination 8 to right, the cross also full but off-center, with most of countermark at bottom, bold full 164 of date in legend (last digit not visible but most likely 9), thin from light corrosion, lightly toned. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
