BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 4 reales, probably Philip IV, assayer not visible, single coin embedded in a massive chunk of coral, as found. 1173 grams. roughly 7" x 5" x 4". Great display with corroded shield side (only) of coin visible, the rest of the coin sturdily embedded in a heavy section of coral conglomerate that also contains small pieces of earthenware shards... and who knows what else?. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
