BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 4 reales, Philip III, assayer T, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 2, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in 14K gold pendant with seahorse embellishments and shackle bail. 18.42 grams total. Well-detailed, lightly corroded piece with full cross showing transposed lion and castle in top quadrants, nearly complete shield with a little doubling, assayer nearly off the flan yet certain, deep red and blue toning. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher certificate 85A-116497 (trimmed, tag missing) and dealer photo-certificate.
