BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 4 reales, Philip III, assayer RL (curved leg), Grade 2, ex-Santa Margarita (1622), mounted cross-side out in 18K gold pendant (engraved) with jump loop. 16.17 grams total. Low-contrast coin with some corrosion, mounted cross-side out but at a 90 degree angle, the unusual setting a round, box-like, high-karat gold bezel without prongs encircling the coin firmly embedded inside of it, on the front side embellishments of skulls, waves and mermaids, hand-hammered plain back. From the Santa Margarita (1622), with original Fisher certificate and photo-certificate M84-092 (tag missing).
