BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 4 reales, Philip III, assayer C, rare, ex-Atocha Research Collection (coin 222). S-P16; KM-9; Cal-unl (Type 148). 10.15 grams. Lightly corroded but with well-detailed full cross-lions-castles and shield, the latter with bold denomination o-iiii to right and weak but certain assayer C to left, which the tag, certificate and RC catalog do not fully attribute because Philip III assayer C was not yet known at that point. Pedigreed to the Bill Barman Collection of Atocha RC Coins, with original Fisher tag and photo-certificate 85A-236589. Photocopy of original Atocha Research Collection catalog to be provided to winning bidder upon request. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
