BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 1 real, 1652 E, post-transitional (McLean transitional Type VII), 1-PH-6 at top with denomination I/2, NGC VF details / sea salvaged (Shipwreck Blue Label), ex-Zbar. S-P37a; KM-13; Cal-750. 3.53 grams. Neat shape with choice full pillars-and-waves featuring a bold 1-PH-6, denomination I punched over 2, motto PL-VSV-LT, and date 52 (Mastalir V.2a.ad.v for exact variety), full but weaker cross due to light corrosion, deeply toned all over. Pedigreed to the Jack Zbar Collection (stated on label), with his tag. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
