BOLIVIA, Potosí, clump of four cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayers not visible, encrusted as found. 94.8895 grams total. Roughly 2¾" x 1¼" x ½". Interesting leaning stack clump with three of the coins showing nice cross-side details, tightly encrusted together with orange sedimentation in the centers, rather scarce as an uncleaned clump from this early wreck. Pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 10, with original lot-tag 263 and small photo-certificate. Recovered from: Unidentified ca.-1590 wreck off the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico
