Struck in Vienna, dated 12 September 1703, with emperor's bust facing right inside legend CAROLVS . III . REX . HISPAN . ARCH . AVST . on obverse (the dots actually triangular stops), also with engraver's initials G and H flanking bust, reverse with warriors leaving landing craft to protect kneeling Hispania from French warriors, with Justice in background, all within legend NON INDEBITA POSCO REGNA MEIS FATIS, and with A PATR. ET. FRAT. A A. / CESSION. FACTA. XII. / SEPT. HISP. PETIT. / 1703. in exergue, raised edge-lettering AVSPICIBVS QVE DIIS TANTI COGNOMINIS HAERES OMINE SVSCIPIAT, QVO PATER ORBIS ONVS.
