Silver "barreton" ingot 934, 15 lb 0.48 oz troy, Class Factor 0.6, marked with fineness IIUCCCLXXX (2380/2400), ex-Atocha (1622). 13-3/4" long, 2-1/2" wide, 1-1/4" tall. Beautifully toned all over, with particularly bold and clear fineness in six boxes and three fairly explicit circular tax stamps showing various parts of D.G. HISPANIARVM (just like on the coins), but apparently made without any manifest number, owner/shipper marks or date/foundry/assayer cartouches (hence the low Class Factor), as the surfaces are only minimally corroded, although the bottom does bear a mysterious crudely engraved W in addition to the usual Fisher number (A85 / 934), with two "assayer bites" in corners. From the Atocha (1622), with original Fisher photo-certificate 85A-S934.
