Alabaster spoon fragment. 25.2 grams, about 3¼" x 1-5/8". Made from an opaque white stone known as alabaster (first we have seen from a wreck), this spoon bowl and section of handle shows light encrustation throughout, with natural fissure in the material that does not appear to affect the integrity, which is intact except for the rest of the handle. From the Capitana El Rubí and pedigreed to Art McKee's Sunken Treasure Museum, with certificate.
