Bare head of L. Junius Brutus right / Bare head of C. Servilius Ahala right. Choice strike and important piece of history as, in 44 BC, Brutus conspired with others to slay the tyrant Julius Caesar. This type celebrates two of his ancestors, Lucius Junius Brutus and Gaius Servillus Ahala, who both overthrew those who ruled or sought to rule them.
