1711 large vellum-bound book in Spanish entitled Comentarios de la Guerra de Espana desde el Principio del Reynado del Rey Philippe Quinto hasta la Paz General, by the Marques de San Felipe (Vicente Bacallar y Sanna). 8-1/2" x 11-3/4"; 483 pages. This is an early printing of an important book about the War of Spanish Succession, 1701-11, divided into 12 books bound together, one for each year, in nice condition but no frontispiece and missing the front page, old ex-libris plate inside cover. Note the author, who was made a marquis by Philip V in 1709, was a Spanish participant in the peace negotiations at Utrecht.
