1702-4 vellum-bound sheaf of official Spanish manuscripts on royal paper (some with seals at top), concerning a noble of Cea in northern Spain, 37 handwritten pages. 12-1/2" x 8-1/2". This appears to be a packet of official records of testimony from many individuals regarding a deceased noble named Don Alexandro Gutierrez de Vidanes, possibly an intestate probate, most pages faded and not very legible but also most with clear seals at top giving dates of 1702 through 1704, with large stain near the front (possibly the remnants of a large wax seal) that bleeds through several pages.
