Seville, Spain, cob 2 escudos, Philip III, assayer G, partial date 162(?), PCGS MS61, ex-Santa Margarita (1622, designated on label). CT-Type 22. 6.83 grams. Good full shield and cross (both well centered) but peripheries flat except for bottom of 62 of date, traces of sediment on matte surfaces, minor edge-split, very rare as a fully certified gold coin from this important Mel Fisher wreck. PCGS #37975195. From the Santa Margarita (1622), with original photo-certificate #160-M-80 from 1982.
