Lima, Peru, pillar 8 reales, Charles III, 1769JM, dot over left mintmark only, unalike crowns, NGC MS 61. KM-A64.2; CT-845. Lustrous and very lightly toned, with naturally aged surfaces (not a hoard coin), high points a little flat but not actually worn, minimal marks, rare grade for this period, in fact tied with one other for second finest in NGC census behind a single MS 62. NGC #1525044-002. (Note: The printed catalog calls this Ferdinand VI in error.)
