Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (1652)E transitional Type IV, ex-Mastalir collection. S-P37; KM-A20.4; CT-432. 20.15 grams. Full shield and crown, one full pillar despite moderate to heavy corrosion, good contrast from toning; clear assayer to left, "8 over 8" and king's ordinal IIII on pillars side; edge-split. Pedigreed to the Roberto Mastalir collection, #IV.1-A.cc(2)2 in his book (page 103). Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
