Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1650O, early-style date, with two countermarks (rare): crowned-T (rare) on shield and crowned-L on cross. S-P35; KM-19b; CT-509. 25.24 grams. Choice full shield and cross, with bold date and P-O and 8-O, clear countermarks (particularly rare to see one on each side), nicely toned, minimal corrosion. From the Maravillas Research Collection of Countermarked Potosi Cobs, with Marex certificate and tag #2015. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
