Alfred Mikalow was an early name in shipwreck salvage for having invented a socketed atmospheric diving suit in 1952 specifically for salvaging. Pedigreed to the Alfred Mikalow collection. Recovered from: "Lucayan Beach wreck," sunk ca. 1628 off Grand Bahama Island
