This lot, originally attributed by the consignor to the Caribbean island of St. Martin, consists of three late-1600s Dutch coins (one 1 guilder and two 6 stuivers), all with countermarks showing a sheaf of seven arrows representing the 7 Dutch chambers, attributed to 1693 and applied to show proper value amidst much debased coinage in circulation. The host coins range from Good to Fine with nice toning, each with collector attributions (albeit erroneous) on cardboard holders.
