Brass hilted hanger carried by infantry and marine personnel, a rare artifact from the French Napoleonic army via a warship sunk by the British fleet during the Walcheren Expedition, an unsuccessful British expedition into the Netherlands which resulted in thousands of British casualties due to malaria.
